Are we gonna continue to see around 50% of games postponed/cancelled? Hope not.

Arizona State at Oregon on 1/13 has been cancelled/postponed. The cancellations have begun anew.....for yet another week.

The Nebraska-Indiana game is going to be an interesting one. Markowski has been a pleasant surprise in the post for the Huskers. Watching the match up between her and Mackenzie Holmes should be good.

Jan 11 7pm on ESPN+.. a showdown in Buies Creek.... The two leaders in the Big South meet up as powerful Longwood visits the Fighting Camels of Campbell. Also on the same date and time...... a dogfight in Boiling Springs... as the Bulldogs of UNC-Asheville... face off against the Running Bulldogs of Gardner-Webb.

Jan 12... High Point makes its long awaited return to the hardwood to take on a rising power in SC-Upstate at 5pm. At 6pm... the Baptists and the Presbyterians face off as Charleston Southern meets the Blue Hose in Clinton, SC. Plenty of good seats available.

Cal Baptist at Dixie State Thursday 1/13 at 9pm EST ESPN+
Cal Baptist at Utah Valley Saturday 1/15 at 4pm EST ESPN+

The Iowa State/Kansas State game should be a doozy. Too bad it appears only broadcast on computer (at least in my market).

Cancellation due to covid protocol in ASU program. I suspect 1/16 against Beavers will also be cancelled.

@Plebe great game from your Cougs tonight. Was feeling fairly confident going into the fourth but I was very nervous towards the end. I hope to go to the game when we play in Houston.

I appreciate that. I would've been extremely surprised if we had won, and it looks like Houston only managed to make it interesting there late.

It's been a somewhat disappointing season so far for my Coogs, considering they were the "first team out" last year and they adopted the dreaded "Unfinished Business" motto (which now makes me cringe). They did pick up wins over Arizona State and Florida State, but — notwithstanding this board's cultish worship of the "power" conferences — those wins look pretty inconsequential at this moment.

Kan St -- after getting stomped by NC St and SoCar, the Cats have been on a roll -- wins over Oregon, So Dak St, Baylor, Okla St, and now have led Iowa St most game.

6-7 from 3pt in the 4th quarter. Great finish for Iowa State. Another massive night for Lee.
I really like this Iowa State Team...fantastic guard play, and a really tough forward who can score in so many ways. This team can make the FF

Georgia Tech and Pitt appears to be a bit of an odd game. GA Tech won 63-52. Scoring by quarter is ALL over the place. GT 20-6 in Q1, Q2 tied at 15, GT 21-7 in Q3 and Pitt 24-7 in Q4.

Kansas State Coach was horrible. He took his team out of a good rhythm by stalling his offense. You have a center that they have NO ANSWER for and you tell your FRESHMAN to just dribble around and turn it over? JUST HORRIBLE COACHING!

Pitt is where offense goes to die. They love UGLY games.

In a bit of a surprise.. the Fighting Camels of Campbell throttle the Lancers of Longwood 69-41  You can't win many games going 1-21 from three point range.

Considers researching lowest 3pt % by a winning team.

Last year:

Wake Forest beat North Carolina 57-54 shooting 2 for 21 (9.5%) from three point range. Opponent shot 2 for 18 (11.1%).

Baylor beat South Florida 67-62 shooting 0 for 11 (0.0%) from three point range. Opponent shot 10 for 27 (37.0%)

I agree. Especially in the last minute when KSU runs the 30 second clock down to 9, calls the TO, inbound the ball right in front of the bench and immediately chuck up a 3 pointer, that was a miss. I believe at the time KSU was up by 1.

And he started with more than 4 minutes left. Dribbling around didn't even get them a chance to get fouled. By the time they tried to run any offense they were panicked, and Lee was double and triple teamed. That last pass should have gone to the foul line area, but the rest of the players had been in "watch" mode for the past 4 minutes. I felt bad for those girls. Coach demonstrated zero faith in them.

The announcers were saying the same when the turnovers started to happen. They suggested that they should get back to attacking and moving the ball.

Thats a pretty big game for Baylor. Starting conference play 0-2 would not be good. Better bring some defense because OU can score in a hurry.
Like I said when they made the Collen hire, just because she was in the WNBA doesn't mean she actually knows how to coach. I have watched this team regress regularly where they can't get the ball to their stud on any regularity. There currently is a search party out looking for Queen Egbo who has disappeared from the offensive game plan. Images of Steph White are flashing before my eyes in overpaid and underskilled at coaching hires....

Add Arizona St. @ Oregon St. to the list of casualties, ASU still on protocol. Assuming Thursday's game against Arizona happens, OSU will have only played 1 conference game thru the first 3 weeks of the schedule. Brutal.

looking forward to Colorado Stanford as this is already a loaded Pac 12.
