The same could be said for Illinois and Indiana. They all have losses that could potentially hurt their conference records. The middle of the pack in the BIG10 looks like it could be a rock fight this season.Northwestern @ UCLA is gonna get UGLY!
Iowa has a big week. Need a bounce back after the Maryland game. Neither Illinois or Indiana is a gimme. Hawkeyes probably need to win both if they have any hope of staying in the B1G race.
It's surprising to me, but at 1-3 Illinois is really up against it. Already 3 games behind 1st place. The same could be said for Illinois and Indiana. Have thought the same. Unable to place my finger on why it's not clicking. Most of the key pieces that have made them successful are still there. It's surprising to me, but at 1-3 Illinois is really up against it. Already 3 games behind 1st place.
The battle for the cellar could also be interesting. Not in a good way.
Ooops. Thanks. Guilty again of multitasking, ie, eating my lunch and doing the whole copy pasta thingy.UCLA @ Purdue Tuesday 7 January. 7PM tipoff on BTN.
Was about to tag you to say something along those lines. First time I've gotten to watch them play for a full game. Ladine is tough and fiesty. Sellers made some beautiful passes and can shoot. Eke and Daniels seem like a nice front court combo. This Washington team is getting fun to watch. I'm almost speechless. Badgers hung in there for a while, but Huskies ran away in the 2nd half.
Did you see the post game interview? Ladine has such a soft voice, it seems a contrast to her on court persona. Was about to tag you to say something along those lines. Just ignite some sage and give some offerings to the woofing gods. After this post I am both delighted and terrified for you.Did you see the post game interview? Ladine has such a soft voice, it seems a contrast to her on court persona.
Earlier in the season when they were struggling, Sellers was their only reliable scorer. Now that she's getting help, she's carving teams up with her passing. I'm pretty sure she had a long pass for a layup off a made basket. That has to be demoralizing. You're behind, you score, chipping into the lead a little bit, and then instantly the ball is going thru the net on the other end, I'm sure some of the Badgers weren't even to half court yet. It's one thing to score in transition on a turnover or missed shot, but off a made shot is something rarer.
I'm sure I seem like a malcontent at times. I've known this team has had talent. They haven't played up to their ability quite often. They seem to have found something in this win streak. I realize it hasn't come against the better teams in the conference. But there's been a fluidity to their offense that has not been seen much in Seattle in many years.
Nah. You're a genuinely passionate fan who didn't think the team was playing to their potential. After watching that game, it's understandable when you see how they can play as a team. They have two games in the state of Michigan coming up. Looking forward to those games.Did you see the post game interview? Ladine has such a soft voice, it seems a contrast to her on court persona.

Looking forward to USC vs Maryland tonight. This should be a good one.
I could see that but I also could see this going down to the wire. It should be competitive at least which is good for a Wednesday night when there isn't much else on (for me at least).I'm thinking USC by 10-15 or so.
It's going to be that kind of season for Michigan. Youth, plus losing veteran pieces that could have contributed put them in this situation. Their freshman are holding their own though. Nothing in how they play indicate this class was overrated.Looks like a disastrous 2nd half for Michigan against Ohio St. They join Illinois in being a team I think has talent, but off to a bad start in B1G action. Fell to 1-3.
