Miami looked to be in big trouble against Duke down 28-17. Then the Canes scored 3 TDs in almost no time at all. Up 39-31, still most of Q4 left.

Watched most of Boise St. game last night. San Diego St. completely sold out trying to stop Jeanty. They shut him down in the first half, but they left everything else wide open and the Broncos scored 35 in the first half. He still ended up w/ around 140 yards and BSU rolled 56-24.

Hadn't seen a week 10 thread posted yet. Delete or merge if one exists.

We're a Pitt household due to wife, so other than our respective alma maters winning, there aren't too many things that bring joy than watching Penn St. lose another big game at home.

tOSU's goal line stand was sweet, but damn, whomever is calling PSU's offensive isn't very good. You'd think one of those four plays would've had some QB motion.

I don't like them, but have to give Ohio State credit for overcoming the early 10-0 hole in that environment.
Something had to give. Going in Ohio St had lost 7 straight to top 5 teams and Penn St had lost 10 straight to top 5 teams.

San Diego St. absolutely sold out trying to stop Jeanty from Boise St. They succeeded at that...for a half...while letting the rest of the offense do whatever it wanted. 35-10 Broncos at the half, cruised to a 56-24 win, and Jeanty still finished w/ around 140 yards.

Vandy is taking down Auburn. Don't know last time Vanderbilt beat both Auburn and Alabama, in same season, but I don't recall it happening.

Surprisingly, this win ties the all-time series between the two teams at 22-22-1.

UAB 45 Tulsa 0 at the half in Birmingham

Well, Maine was up 7-0 on Oklahoma. And then they...weren't.

UAB is killing Tulsa. Our game next week may be tougher than we think.
With the exception of maybe the top 25 teams (not always though), most teams are good enough to beat teams that are slightly better than they are, and are bad enough to be beaten by teams that are slightly worse than they are. Matchups, player health, schemes, and a little luck (or refs) determine the outcome.

With the exception of maybe Merrimack, there is no "free win" for us. There aren't a lot of free wins for most teams. Hell, Vanderbilt wasn't a free win for Alabama either...

51-14 with over 5 minute's left in the 3rd quarter. Their qb Kitna is having a field day...

Georgia is not that good or Florida is a lot better than we thought. The playoffs are going to be really fun this year. I'll be rooting for Indiana. Really hope they disrupt the scene.

Disaster day in B12 as Iowa st and Kanst lose.

Not good for us. They will be hypersensitive about adding for football.
Just gotta keep winning, even if it's only against a bunch of jv teams like Liberty last season

Figured, Dad went to that powerhouse Central Washington! Talent can be anywhere.
I was at CWU while Jon was there. Didn't know him, but saw him around campus. He was an intimidating looking dude.

Oof, USC-Washington is off to a bad start. Trojans have squandered excellent field position twice already, while UW has shot themselves in the foot about half a dozen times and we're only midway thru Q1. Somehow the Dawgs are up 3-0. Both teams look terrible.

I believe it is that Florida is better than we thought. Unfortunately, their QB Lagway left the game in 2nd quarter with injury and transfer from Yale had to play.

But Florida still has games against Texas, LSU, Ole Miss and FSU. Not much hope for them except against FSU which lost to North Carolina today and only has 1 win.

Watching South Carolina against A&M now and SC scored first. Tough atmosphere in Columbia but expect A&M to win.

Jeez, SMU receivers have broken two tackles or 3rd and long for huge gains because Pitt didn't wrap up. The second WR did an amazing job of not having knees touch turf. If SMU wins this, those two plays will likely be the difference as both drives should've been dead.

This Pitt-SMU game has potential to turn ugly. Pitt FG kicker Sauls just missed his first kick of the year. SMU's next play is a 71-yard TD run. SMU 21-3 early in 2d half.
