Week 10 CFB Games

This is kind of comical. How can both teams be so good offensively, and so absolutely clueless/helpless/hopeless on D? It's bizarre. It's a little surprising it's only 21-21 at this point. Both Os had a hiccup on their second possession, but then went back to lighting it up.

Oh, UW/USC.

35-28 with 600 yards of combined offense...at halftime. Huskies leading and will get the ball to start the 2nd half. Both teams with a critical error that gave their opponent a short field TD. UW had a punt blocked, Williams coughed up the football for USC.

I’m a little surprised that these teams don’t start going for 2 after TDs — the offenses a are so much better than the Ds.

Well I'm shocked, but both defenses have come up with some plays in the 2nd half. 45-42 UW w/ about 8 minutes left and they just got the ball back on a rare punt from USC.

The scoring pace has dropped off significantly, but they've still blown the over/under out of the water. I think I read it was 76. Vegas messed up on that one, anybody could've seen that coming.

Huskies haven't had a whole lot of success running the ball this season. Coming in Johnson was leading them w/ 430 yards. He has 244 tonight. Penix hasn't hardly done anything in the 2nd half, but they haven't needed to because USC can't stop the run.

52-42 UW now in victory formation.

That's 3 losses for USC. I will just about guarantee they're gonna get hammered in Autzen Stadium next week. That means they will need to beat UCLA to avoid a 5 loss regular season. Is this what anybody thought they were getting when Lincoln Riley came to town?

.-.
I kinda think UW are pretenders, but 9-0 is still 9-0.

Um...Oregon St. got the extra point kick after a long drive to take command 21-3 early in Q3. There was an offside penalty on the D, they decided to go for 2 instead. Bad snap, scoop and score for Colorado. 3 point swing on the scoreboard, but big momentum shift. I'm kinda over going for 2. Seen it fail too many times this year.

I thought it wasn't gonna matter, but Colorado just scored to make 26-19 w/ a bit under 2 minutes left. Gotta be an onside kick coming. 27-17 would make ALL the difference in the world. Too many coaches are outsmarting themselves and chasing points in situations where it doesn't make any sense.

I am watching the replay of the James Madison win over Georgia State. We are going to have lots of problems next week playing them. Their quarterback is very athletic and a very accurate thrower of the ball. Further, their defense leads the country in Sacks (41).

Last week I watched the replay of JMU v ODU. JMU looked like it would coast, then ODU played most of the 2nd half in a hurry-up offense and made a game of it. I'm wondering if we even have that capability.

Thank God the game is on ESPN+, so no one will see it.

.-.
I'll add this on here. No real surprise, USC gave their DC the axe.
