After the Towson game, Colleen & I were feeling quite upbeat about the team. They continued the good play from the AAC tourney and even hit their 3-point shots. They appeared to be peaking at the right time.
But after the first 10 minutes of the Buffalo game, the team reverted to many of their late season foibles: dribbling into the lane where 3 defenders waited, throwing long looping passes, throwing passes before looking where the defense was, standing around in the half-court offense, drifting toward the strong side and leaving a shooter unguarded, and missing layups. They all participated in the shenanigans, though Lou and Pheesa were less involved in them.
Hope it was somehow just being tired or overconfidence.
