Wearing Pink Saturday...

It is homecoming & October is Breast Cancer awareness Month. The ladies in my crew will be wearing the Pink UCONN baseball caps that I bought 2 years ago at one of the CO-Op kiosks at the RENT. I will be wearing my pink-ish golf shorts in support.
Last season I ranted that the Co-Op lost a huge marketing & sales opportunity by having only sparce Husky apparel in pink. While casually walking around the concourse at half time of the last game, I didn't see much merch in pink.
We all have lost loved ones to some form of Cancer, you'd think that the Co-Op would get a clue...

Penn State has a white out and UConn . . . a pink out? And, I am in favor of supporting BCA efforts, but UConn needs blue in that stadium. Maybe a white out of their own with pink hats.

This seems like a nice idea but the marketing for it would be better if the game was on a Wednesday.

White out shows up better than Blue out just because it's a brighter color. Last time Syracuse came here you could almost spot every cuse fan in the stadium because of the bold orange color. Blue just kind of blends in with thecrest of the crowd.
