He refused to fire his incompetent buddy and put friendship above what was best for the team. No sympathy.
It had to be done. But dancing on a man's grave is very poor behavior.
He's a good man. From what I could tell, he ran a clean program. But in the end, he had to go. He hitched his horse to a wagon called GDL (who is also probably a good man), and he lost the team. He has been and will continue to be well compensated for his commitment to UConn, and I wish him well in the future...
Can we celebrate the fleeing ghost of Jeff Hathaway? Be gone demon. Be gone.
any truth to the rumor that it was your post Buffalo rant that cause Ward to pull the trigger?Well then I'm just a poorly behaved fan. Tappity tappity tap tap tap! Adios, P. I will never forgive you for the harm you've done.

It's a good day for UConn athletics. Accountability has been restored to the football program. These are all positives.

We should be happy, but this is just step one.
P may be a good guy. GDL is not.
He was putting the best face he could on a bad situation (of his making). Not any stupider than what half the coaches out their spew on a daily basis. He lost his job. Nuff said.
