we settled for too many outside shots

We were in the bonus at like the 8 min mark and never attacked the rim on the offensive end. Hard to believe we couldn't get to the free throw line for at least 1 and 1.

Memphis had four guys in the paint for a good percentage of the time. TSam, Nolan, Calhoun and Purvis had open looks all night. Only Boat received special attention. Memphis coach wanted to stop Hamilton's penetration and the Brimah lob. He had to give away something.
Open threes for TSam. He bit twice.

Actually we didn't shoot it enough when open and hesitated too much, thus leaving us with a Boat throw with the clock ending.

We had no choice but to shoot open threes, they clogged the middle after we scored like 30 points in the paint last game against them. If we cant hit open shots we shouldnt win.

We could have at least got the ball into the middle of the key and then either (A) throw alley pop (B) take mid range jumper or (C) kick it out for 3. Instead the last 10 minutes we ran ball screens around the perimeter
