We need to stop listening to the "Big East Sucks" Doom and Gloomers

Being in a power conference would make me happy.
How does that jive with saying that they made a huge mistake by promoting UConn as a national program? We saw that they could not survive in the AAC, and therefore any non-Power 4. Are you saying they should've never joined the BEAST?

I think we are blinded as UConn fans. Florida from the SEC just won the national title. The other teams in the FF were also spending huge on hoops. Hurley's 23 team might be one of the lasts where you had home grown juniors being key pieces of a national title team. Things have changed that much that quick.
Yeah, the committee MADE SURE UConn had to play Florida in the 2nd round. They would've matched them up against Auburn if they thought Auburn had a better chance to beat UConn. They held their collective breath, terrified that UConn might beat Florida anyway.
This portal "stuff" was borne of Covid - enough said there.

If you were a top tier conspiracy theorist you would have been easily able to link this year’s seeding with Covid.

This has been discussed ad nauseum. In my opinion, the Big East should have been a temporary stop, like changing trains at Stamford, not a permanent home. I would rather see UConn in a conference with ACC remnants, than the Big East.

Hey, I've lived in Stamford for roughly 60 of the 64 years I've been alive and I can say without question that it has the best of what Connecticut has to offer.

That aside, while not ideal, the remaining ACC (post departure of their schools that can get offers from the P-2) is a far better alternative to anything other than an offer to join the B1G (the SEC will never extend an offer to a New England school).

That's the plan, Buddy. Where has UConn had a chance to move on and didn't take it? What are you whining about?

whining? LOL he's merely pointing out the obvious with hopes the Big East will eventually be in the rear view mirror.

It is very much whining.

We all get that we are not in the Big 10, but luckily for us, there are dozens of posters who want to litter every thread with Big East hate to remind us every day. Thank you for your service.

Thank you. Whining days are long gone. I just stated an opinion. Nothing more. There are some who think the BE is UConn's salvation, and others who don't. Very simple.

I love Stamford, don't get me wrong, but from where I travel in NY to go to my destination in CT. I have to change trains in Stamford. No offence intended.

So what you are saying is that you want to go back to the AAC. Got it.
Find us a post where he said that, if not work on reading comprehension
