We were in the Yankee Conference when I went to UConn (yeah, I'm old and cranky). Uconn is a force of nature. Start flexing the muscles we have. Big East cures this problem (a non-problem in their view) or we walk.

The money will pinch them. If you can't get more fans to DePaul/Providence than they get for Stamford High School/Rippowam, then the $ will go away.

Anyone with a room temp IQ can see how dumb your post is. But I'll feed this to you like you're my 2-year-old: You bolded the less important part of my post, which I only wrote in the context of disagreeing with him. You think I wrote my post to complain about the refs??? Huh?

I disagreed with him (not bolded), made a concession (bolded), then reemphasized my disagreement with him (not bolded).

It's as if you think people don't know to read.
 
This thread must be some sort of a joke. Did we forget our recruitment while in the AAC? For all the bitching about the BE, we recruit best when we are in this league. Grass is always greener folks.
 
Did anyone else notice against Nova how much they were grabbing and holding our guys as they ran through screens and ran the offense? The lack of calls helps these teams when they play us. It happens every game but against Nova it was much more apparent.

Couldn't believe this thread was back up high on the forum.

Is the Big East a worse option for UConn than any P4 conference? Yes.
Would UConn leave it for any P4 conference? Yes.
Does UConn have that option? No.
Is the Big East better than any non P4 conference? Yes.
Is the Big East thus the best actually available option for UConn? Yes.

Based on the foregoing mostly undisputed facts, what action is the school is supposed to take? Cry more? Folks here have that covered. Whine and stomp their feet? UConn Twitter excels at that.

When more stuff happens, UConn will re-evaluate.
 
First, the officiating is overall good. Next, yes, mistakes are made. And yes, fouls by some players are overlooked and in other cases are given unfairly. But, come on. We all need to stop the complaining and concentrate on what is important: the record of this team, its players and their health. Winning takes a positive, can do attitude every game competing at a high level combined with unselfish teamwork. Right now UConn has found the right formula and that's all that matters. All the rest is incidental and unimportant. Husky fans and this great team need to forget the noise and concentrate on only one thing: winning. Go Huskies!
