We need to beat Cincy to get bowl-eligible. That's about all I care about now. There's no loyalty left for the rest of this league, as any team would be happy to jump ship if offered an invite(including us), so it's all the same.

A 7-5 Louisville w/ losses to FIU and Marshall would be the final nail in the Big East's desire to hold onto the AQ status. Everyone is pissed at the way WVU handled the B-12 situation, but WVU going to the BCS game would keep a little heat off the BE.

I think the Orange Bowl is praying Clemson beats VA Tech. The idea of another year of VA Tech bringing 1,500 fans is not appealing to them.

The final nail is in and sounds like AQs going away anyway, which makes all of it mute.

BE will probably survive as a middling football league, but hoops status is destroyed.
