Regardless of blaming coaches, players, refs, luck of the Irish, whatever. This team needs to have at least three players to have great games to beat the teams like Baylor and ND. Sure, we can get great games from three against Cincinnati or Providence, but against the top teams, we can't have KML, Bria and Kelly scoring 8, 6 and 4 points .

The third is up in the air and will probably change on any given night. It could be Kelly one night or Bria the next. Maybe Stewie or Tuck.
Will we see Doty again? With fresh legs I think Geno needs to give her some minutes. If she starts hitting 3's its a bonus.

I think you are right, but defense at the end of games is crucial.
I think UCONN seems to run out of mental fuel by the end, like mental fatigue and maybe physical fatigue from tough defenses.
Stef and KML need to be in double figures always, but sometimes slowing things down can help, and the guard that can do that controls the end of the game.
I think uconn rushes in deperation at the ends of games, instead of someone taking the reigns and control the game, which allows room for that elite point guard to make plays in the end.

If someone stepped in and controlled the game more, it wouldnt matter who was the 3rd double figure scorer.

i thnk Farris needs to step up her game in the end of games to create steals and turnovers on the other team instead of trying to take shots or create offense on her own, which she has struggled with in key games.
Agree! UCONN has enough talent to have at least three in double figures but they have to be in the rotation faris, stewart, tuck can easily step up against any competition when they get playing time. KML and Dolson are a given in scoring most nights. It seems geno doesn't fully utilize his asenal of talentfor instance he will use tuck for a few games but bench stewart, play stewart and bench tuck. I think he gives too much unproductive minutes to his starters when they are struggling use your bench you have the talent!
