They both still suck.
If I understand things correctly, I look forward to seeing how much higher the monthly cost of YouTubeTV is going to be in order to incorporate "free" ESPN Unlimited.

Although being able to watch things like UConn baseball and hockey from within a decent platform might carry more value than I currently appreciate.

Don't really see a difference between Hulu or YTTV. But then again the only thing I really watch is Basketball and Foot. Not a news, TV show or movie watcher.

I have Hulu live with ESPN+ and was able to watch UConn Soccer vs Georgetown this weekend. It is a nice to have features.

From past experience, something about the ESPN+ app made it a nuisance to use much of the time. So yes, you get the game, but it is annoying. I am hoping having it through YouTubeTV makes it seamless like it is just another channel.

On a related note, Peacock has embraced the ability to rewind a game if you come in late. Imagine that?

This is gonna make the non-sports people irate. I bit the bullet and upgraded to ESPN Unlimited during the blackout.

That's how it works with Hulu+ Live. If you go to "Sports" the games are just there via Hulu like games on any other channel. The one thing I use the app for is obscure stuff like college soccer. It is buried pretty deep behind other content.

I watch a lot of Husky hockey games on Hulu Live/ESPN+.

Payed Youtube and signed up for Hulu but I hate Hulu's interface - so back to YouTube
I switched from Hulu to YT a while ago...found that Hulu buffered waaaay too much. Not an issue with YT. Honestly, realized other than Husky games, don' really watch ESPN anymore.

I thought the buffering was just us, it’s the only service that we use that regularly does it. Makes it nearly unwatchable some days.

So they still haven’t fixed it. It’s why we switched

Yeah Hulu does buffer alot and I dont like their user interface, much happier with YTTV

make sure to go to your Youtube TV account to claim the $20 refund for the lack of Disney/ESPN
I can’t get it for some reason. I follow the instructions and it just isn’t there.

It would be so nice if someone could come up with a streaming service of just sports channels. I don't need all the other crap TV. If for some reason I want to watch something else I have my antenna.

Or better yet let y choose which channels y want. I could do without 70% of the channels I pay for. Imagine if you could not fund B1G or Acc network of our competitors

That would cost more. Some of those channels are paying to be carried, others cost money, including the ones you want.
