We were roughly 500 ahead of Appalachian State, who hosted Bethune Cookman. SMU was hardly over 20k, Tulane was at like 24k if I remember right. It's also higher than all but one of Boise State's 2022 home games. Now, I do believe the numbers are a bit fudged, but programs are doing that across the board so it's sort of irrelevant.

SMU hosted Louisiana Tech and it was 115 degrees on the field. September games in Dallas need to be at night.

Regarding the subject heading, some San Jose State supporters were all sorts of excited about the Spartans’ largest attendance in years (About 20K vs Oregon State, then #18). Fair chance Beavers boosted the attendance.

Disagree - the seats were at least 75% full with lots of standees. Search for the pics - there's proof.
