Shabazz willed us to that win, he has taken on Calhoun's personality and is channeling his inner Kemba. Trust me I was one of the guys calling him out for his very poor play for a lot of the Big East slate but anyone with eyes can see that he has turned the corner big time in the last bunch of games. He's cut down on the turnovers isn't pounding the ball nearly as much and is just exerting his will on the game. I think it's pretty obvious that he was laboring with some injury problems which led to some confidence issues, you couple that with him not having Calhoun in charge and it led to some poor play and bad body language. Shabazz wants to win so freaking badly and wants do do well for Calhoun who he clearly loves. He is our leader and everyone has to buy in and follow.

It's funny and sad to go back and read all the posts slamming Shabazz from earlier in the year.

Did anyone else notice him screaming at the guys in the huddle at some point late in the 2nd half after he hit the floor? That's the point when the team's leadership issues were solved.

Did everybody notice when Shabazz fouled out that Calhoun patted him on the back of head to say don't get down as you played one gutsy game. Calhoun knows how impotant Bazz is this to team and loves the improved play he has seen from him recently. Though that wrap around foul to get his 5h was such a dumb one as it was right in front of the referee.
