I prefer weeks ranked #1 between April-October
And those should count as weeks at number 1 wonder what the numbers would be then. I know since 1999 we would have to be #1. I mean mathematically it would be impossible not to be right.

They shouldn't. No games are played. Who cares about the offseason for this stuff?

The off-season weeks after winning an NCAA championship are unquestionably weeks that the winning team IS the best college team in the country. I think you count the weeks from chip to midnight madness.

The other way is literally the dookie way and you are effectively honoring if not hanging #1 AP poll banners!

Can we redo the stats to add those off-season weeks. That seems relevant no?!
How much effort would you put into lobbying for weekly polling during April-October? How much support do you think your efforts would gain? Maybe you're into something.

Some of those years might have been before he was born1958-62 . The Big O or Paul Hogue era
I’m not sure if he even remembers Huggies' great teams from 25-30 years ago . especially 1998-2000.
Their best ranking since was in the AAC .
I meant ours. He was equating #weeks at #1 with being really good. NCs show that for us.
