It might have been a night to play Carlton and Cobb together. Neither was in deep foul trouble in the second half. It might have been a good time to experiment with two bigs.

I hope you are being sarcastic. Those two together would be a nightmare on our defensive end of the court.

Hurley knew that in the tourney Iowa was the worst matchup for us right now....

Impressed watching film of the three other teams in the 2K Empire Classic, Hurley said, “We were kind of rooting for Oregon a little bit (against Iowa). I thought Iowa was the most mature team, most well-rounded team and the toughest matchup for us.”
I think we all knew Iowa was the worst matchup for us going in. I really wanted Oregon because I think we had a great chance of beating them and it would have been another win vs. a ranked team.

We came out flat after an emotional high the night before. Get behind by 10 to a skilled, well coached, veteran team and your done.
