We are 4th place in BigEast

? . ..its the way schedule shaked out. Including tonight our 3 toughest BE road games came early in schedule. We'll catch leaders in Feb

I see you’re talking sense . . . anc logic.

Nah, not here.

We are fourth, the three teams ahead of us have 1 conference loss total. The four of them are all going to end up with 5-6 conference losses once the round robin between them all happens. That being said, gotta find a way to get these road wins.

well, for what it’s worth…

Games remaining against top half of conference (teams currently 1-6):
1) Providence: 7 (3 H, 4 A)
2) Xavier: 7 (2 H, 5 A)
3) Marquette: 6 (2 H, 4 A)
4) UConn: 6 (4 H, 2 A)
5) Creighton: 6 (4 H, 2 A)

Entirely possible with how the rest of the schedule shakes out that we see UConn and/or Creighton climb to the top of the rankings.

Honestly don't really care about winning the regular big east title. I want the team to refocus, regain identity, toughness, and improve defense, win vast majority of remaining games and go on a roll into the BET and hope to do well then.

Gotta beat the top teams to be the best. We aren’t that
They'll have a chance to beat all of them at home but they put themselves in a position where they can't have any slip ups in all the other games. We seem too inconsistent to not have another slip up.

That's where I'm at. I hate admitting it this early in Big East play but the entire season will be judged as a success or failure based on how they do in the Big East tournament and most importantly how they do in the NCAA's.

True. That is usually the measure of success for UConn, but also going out in the BE tourney semis is not that big if you have a successful NCAA run.
