Massey has us virtually tied with Stanford and SC (I personally like their data but I am well aware that others do not). More support for the notion that the tourney will be wide open this year...

Connecticut dropped down to 5th, swapping places with UCLA, in Tuesday's coaches poll. If they beat South Carolina on Monday, I imagine they will jump all the way to #1. Both Massey and Sonny Moore have them first; Massey only by a hair, Moore by a good bit.

Massey has the Monday game as UCONN 72, South Carolina 68. I hope for more, with the freshman apocalypse riding high, but the corporate media emphasizes SC superiority & experience. We'll see.
BTW Massey's ratings seem much more rational than AP/UPI.

Along with Louisville playing unranked ND to 6 points. This means that winner of the game on Monday night between UCONN and South Carolina goes to #1.
