Unranked Gonzaga pulls away in OT to beat #6 Louisville 79-67. Maxwell from Gonz looked tough with 21 points. Lots of upsets today!

I don't think it's the WCC making a statement, just GU. BYU has been solid for years but they appear to be WAY down this year. Unless I see otherwise I don't think anyone from the WCC other than the Zags is going to be making much noise this year. Portland has gotten off to a disappointing start.

Yeah. I agree, @nwhoopfan. Usually, the WCC race is between Zaga and others. BYU has been pretty solid for a while. Throw in the random Portland, Saint Mary's, San Francisco wins, the WCC has been Zaga. I am hoping that Pepperdine can make that climb up the ladder a little. Maybe one of these days.
