Oddly enough, of the 8 teams, one was an OOC opponent of Rutgers and one was an OOC opponent of Arizona. Which is odd because Rutgers played only 6 OOC games and Arizona 2. NAU and Manhattan are the 2 teams, FWIW.

I'm guessing these tournaments require the teams to pay all their own costs, and then the tournament just pays for the arena, refs, and staff? Cant figure out how else they could break even.

And in this case, they are playing it as a 3 day tourney. 4 games per day; winner and consolation bracket winner. All at Kentucky State University, in Frankfort. I suspect you are correct.
