Interesting that Kaila Charles is ranked 25 by Hoopgurlz but made the WBCA top 10 list. Alecia Sutton (UT/Texas) is ranked 6th by Hoopgurlz and is not on the WBCA team.

Surprising not to see Jackie Young on this team based on what I have read about her game.

Kaila Charles moved from Eleanor Roosevelt (a local powerhouse) to Riverdale Baptist (a national powerhouse). I'm not sure if it was her senior year or a post-grad year. Two years ago, De'Janae Boykin's Flowers team lost only 2 games, both to Roosevelt. DJB got in foul trouble in at least one of the games. Roosevelt had the better supporting cast by far, but DJB couldn't do anything against Charles.

Jackie was the Naismith NPOY, but only somewhere between #11 and #30 on the WBCA list. She made HM AA. Some difference of opinion.

Kaila Charles didn't even win the 2016 Gatorade player of the year for Maryland that was just announced she lost out to a junior from another private school.

How is it that a Naismith player doesn't make this but a player of the year (rightfully So) does?

Is it only me that see this as perplexing?
