anyone watching this on ESPN2? Happened to turn it on, waiting for the games.
very weird: all the make-up and incredibly fake smiles
but also very cool. It is, after all, as athletic as anything else and, from the ground up, it's a women's sport, not a men's sport that women also play. Is this the only sport in the world designed specifically for women? (I realize that there are aspects of ice skating and gymnastics that are different than men's, but the overall sports themselves were originally played by men.)
Edit: for the record, I thought Minnesota should have won again (apparently it would have been 8 yrs in a row), but placed 2nd behind tOSU. Man, I really hate tOSU--except it is a surprisingly better school academically (in at least certain areas) than many realize.
