Not a fan of the Beastie Boys but I did make a bunch of cash because of them. I owned and advertising agency and we did promotion work for Heublein. Heublein had a premixed cocktail line called Heublein Cocktails which were manufactured in Hartford. The brand was old and dusty and sales were in the toilet until the Beastie Boys released Brass Monkey (a Heublein cocktail). Overnight Heublein couldn't make enough Brass Monkey. Had to do overnight ads, promotional materials, case, cards for which I was able to really nail them. Thank you Beastie Boys!
