I forget how exhibition games have been watched in the past. Any hints?
 
The UConn schedule on the team Website references WWAX, UConn+, and the UConn Sports Network for the November 3 game against Fort Hays State.

I have not used any of those but they would be worth exploring. UConn+ looks like a live game streaming service and I would probably start there but would also check out the UConn Sports Network.
 
At 77 my mind is floating away off into the distance but I seem to remember reading that one of the sports channels were going to cover it!
Someone that still has their brain please check it out!
 
Maybe not live. I am traveling. Plan on watching it Sunday evening though.

Thanks. I was wondering about that. Worst case is if no one else covers the game then UConn+ cast to the TV.
 
It is on UCONN+. See screen capture below. UCONN+ is also available on ROKU among others.

So if I download the UConn + app onto Roku I should be able to watch on Sunday?

Thank you -- that's more important than even a UConn WBB game. Plus I think UConn+ will keep the game available for a few days.

This Sunday the indication is its viewable. You have to check on UCONN+. Sometimes, if theres a tiny pair of headphones shown, you can only hear it.
 
During the UConn football game, the announcer said that the exhibition game would be telecasted on "their sister station WAX". I never heard of WAX. Anyone know anything about it?

Apr 25, 2023 — WWAX is a new TV Station for Connecticut. It is transmitted on Channel 27 from our transmitter site in Avon, CT.
 
And I believe 27 on Frontier is WWAX, although it is shown on Frontier's "grid" as WFSBDT4. The grid also lists a women's BB Sunday at noon but not the teams.

Apparently, it i also channel 27 over the airways if you have the correct antenna.

It's a real exhibition game, not a regular season game. It's the only women's exhibition game this year and part of the season ticket package. It is not a scrimmage.

Similar to the exhibition game that the men had against URI recently at Mohegan Sun.

Also have flohoops app installed. I’ll start it up next week and cancel after the tournament.
 
As the telecast won't be available out here, does anyone know if a replay will be on youtube?
 
@Kat I could be wrong (I usually am), but if the game is live on the UConn+ app, I would think that any "official" replay would be available on the app.
But nowadays, I guess anyone that has the technology to record streaming videos probably has the ability to post them on YouTube.
