Watching games in Mass

I live in western Mass on Spectrum. Spectrum does not carry Sports New York. Can anyone tell me what to do? Maybe use an IPad and cast it to the tv? Any help is appreciated. I have kids and grandkids so anything more than two steps is not a problem. Thanks.

I dunno about Mass, but I haven't had SNY in years. I either do as you say and watch on a tablet and mirror to the TV, or I use the Fox app on my TV and watch directly.
