26-17 SEA end of first

Loyd 8 pts, 1 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl

57-44 Seattle thru Q3. Stewie is off tonight, only 1-9 shooting (but 10 rebounds). Looks like Bird and Canada are just about splitting time at PG. Bird has 7 pts/1 assist Canada has 5 pts/5 assists. Howard approaching a double-double w/ 11 pts/8 boards. Loyd also has 11.

Meesseman has 13 and Gemelos has 10 (wow, that's great for her!).

I forgot this was streaming on facebook. I found it. Seattle should hang on, but they are looking a bit ragged.

Never mind ragged, Seattle looks terrible down the stretch. Can't blame this on Canada, she's not on the floor.

71-64 final. It's a win, that's about all you can say about it. Seattle was up 16 in Q3 and nearly gave this one away. Stinky. Stewie went 4-17 from the floor.

.-.
Sue started, and Seattle was clicking in Q1. After that, it was a total grind. Seattle barely hung on. The offense in the Minnesota v. Chicago game was very different than that in this game! But it's a W for Seattle.

As noted, Stewie couldn't buy a bucket, but she still had 16 points plus 14 rebounds.

Seattle scored 71 in both games against Washington, their lowest output for the season. 1 a win, 1 a loss. Is Washington playing really good defense? Sure doesn't look like it from scores of other games. Mystics have now lost 12 of 13 after a 3-0 start.

Seattle, though they had a few days off, looked tired. I don't think it was the Washington defense.

Stewie had a very poor shooting night. Stats do not tell the story. Air balls from in close.
Still, she kept her composure getting to the line and staying active on the boards. The difference in this game was Natasha Howard. A lot of energy and effort on the Boards (5 OReb) and getting inside to do damage
