18-15 WAS end of first

MHA 5 pts, 3 reb, 1 ast, 3 stl

36-29 WAS at the half

MHA 15 pts, 6 reb, 2 ast, 3 stl

A lot riding on this game for WAS; nothing for the Liberty.

57-40 after 3. Kia Stokes. 5 -7 from 3. Not sure I like the idea of posts who only seem to shoot 3's

Mystics on the verge of making the playoffs now. Another strong game for Hines-Allen, 25 pts/11 reb/4 assists/3 steals. 75-58 final.

My understanding: Assuming Dallas beats NY tomorrow, Washington is in if they beat Atlanta but Dallas gets in if Washington Loses. But of course. Washington has all the motivation and Atlanta can only play spoiler

For the liberty Uconn 34, rest of team 20. A lot of players not showing up. On a young team need to play hard, even when you aren't in the playoffs.

Liberty 25 TO's, Washington 8 TO's :eek::eek::oops::oops:

Dallas should easily beat NY. It will be interesting to see which Mystics team show up on Sunday.

It seems Washington is playing well down the stretch and the game is a must win for them and for Atlanta, they can only play spoiler. So I guess in the language of probability, 90% chance for Washington.

It’s never been her identity. She’s always been an around the basket primarily defensive player, so to unearth this hidden talent for shooting threes can only be a good thing in my mind.

It’s also the style of basketball Hopkins is striving for, everyone shooting the three. I doubt he’ll start Stokes next year depending on who stays with the team, since he’s eyeing more of a small ball system. Not sure I buy into that. I think the plan this year was to start Rebecca Allen at the PF until she’s opted out.

Yeah, I see now on the WNBA.com official standings that WAS’s victory over NYL has officially knocked ATL out of the playoffs. How motivated will ATL be to beat WAS? Will the wind be out of the sails?

Mike T. has his team playing good ball. Does he get consideration for COY?

Myisha has zoomed past Crystal on the scoring list. I think Danger likely will finish 11th in league scoring (maybe 12th if Carter has played enough games).
