Well, there's always the Cal games to look forward to....60-50 final. UW was up 40-34 at 6:11 in Q3. 10 points in the final 14 minutes of the game.
The TOs were the big winner today. 22 for UW, 21 for CU, outpaced made buckets 43-40. Combined 5-40 behind the arc, I'm pretty sure you could shoot that well blindfolded. This is truly one of the worst basketball games I've ever seen.
They already got to enjoy one beat down against Cal. So they might win at least 1 more conference game this year. 2-20 should keep them out of the cellar because I don't think Cal can manage more than 1 win, if even that many.Well, there's always the Cal games to look forward to....
Colorado seems pretty decent defensively.
I saw a good defensive effort from Colorado. Defensive effort can often times lead to turnovers.Everybody looks pretty decent defensively against a team who can't shoot. And turns it over constantly.

Football folded like a cheap suit at the end of the season, men's and women's hoops both stink. If softball season ever starts there will be at least one thing to feel good about on Montlake this sports calendar.

Not saying that isn't true, but if you've watched Washington play, they have a tendency toward TOs and poor shooting against most opponents.
edit--anyway Colorado turned it over as much as Washington did, was UW's defensive effort equally impressive? To me it was more of a case of 2 teams playing really, really sloppy ball.
I won't belabor it anymore. I was rooting for Washington. It was a frustrating game. I was seeing it from a point of view of everything they were doing wrong, not what Colorado was doing to them.I wasn’t basing anything on stats. I was just going by what I saw, which was a fairly innocuous comment that had nothing to do with Washington.
