The toss play for for the 50 yard touchdown also came on a 3rd and 1 play to the big back. You can't be happy about that one that worked, and then mad about the sweep when it didn't work.

Wow. A little over bitter perhaps?

No.

The nuances of sarcasm often get lost on message boards.

Rule of thumb when I post something, unless there is no possible way to interpret it as being stated sarcastically (or at least with some attempt at humor or levity) it is best to assume that there is intended sarcasm within the statement.

I read PP's statement about MH and he basically said that he is 215 lbs compared with McCombs 165 lbs. Assume that you will see him in short yardage stuff to push the pile. Nice to see him break one and nice to see him work to stay in bounds. He took advantage of his opportunity.

Unless his name is John Riggins and we are re-living the year 1983, it is not the running back's responsibility to push the pile in short yardage. It is the offensive line's responsibility to win the line of scrimmage by 2-3 yards.

Regarding McCombs, he needs to quit dancing before he gets to the LOS, becasue with this O-line, the holes aren't open for long.
