The only thing in my head is the quote from GDL after the Buffalo game where he emphatically said that he wasn't going to do anything to put the defense in a tough spot.

He openly stated that his playcalling was conservative so they wouldn't lose the game.

The guy probably coached Moses and Abraham. Does anyone think that he could change after 2 games.
Up 14-0, he told us he would play not to lose.

Unlike Buffalo where this strategy almost failed, this time it did.

Disagree with this. We ran the same plays and sets throughout the game. Temple adjusted and we didn't. That simple.

can't put up 1 freaking points in the last 3 qtr's? Yes, we missed 3 FG's in the final 3 Qtr's.

You're contradicting yourself. You're saying we didn't take the same chances in the 2nd half and then said we didn't adjust offensively from what worked in the first Q.

you might be right... Went back to look at the stats and the offense was a more balanced than I recalled.
something happened after our second score however. and whatever it was, our offense sputtered. Whether it was GDL's inability to adjust or his unwillingness to adjust, the team lost a game that it seemed to have in complete control.
This team has been in a position to win every game. And yet we are 3-4. And, because of the offense, we are also one play away from being 2-5.

yesterday may have been more balanced on offense, but putting up 14 points and 190+ yards in 1Q, while putting up 0 points and 190 yards in Q2, Q3, and Q4 and OT is not something for an OC to hang his hat on.
