Was Allie Over-looked?

It's early in the season, but I think this one question about being over-looked has been answered. The sophomore leap is evident in every aspect of her game. Perhaps now a better question is; "Would AZ be a starter on every other team in the country?"

well, i wouldn't be amazed if she achieves it with last season's champion at some point this season! 😁

About Shade: Ash was a 40+% shooter from 3 last year. I would call that very good.
Allie will get her chances and soon. Her defense has improved dramatically (although she's not KK) and her offense doesn't just depend on the 3. She is a three level scorer and will show that soon enough. Based on the way that Geno has talked about her, she must be showing these things in practice.

First, statistics need to be filtered as (1) against BE teams and (2) against top 20 teams. Second, Ash was playing the 2 (sg) last year giving her the space needed for her type of shot. This year, at the 3 (wing) it's against larger defenders and less time to set. She made a nice adjustment yesterday to go to the pullup, which, although mostly a 2 pointer, it is a much quicker option.
