On Monday and Tuesday night at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, where he was in town for National Football Foundation events, Alvarez sat amid friends at the bar. He looked happy, laughing and joking with the likes of Connecticut athletic director Warde Manuel and Northern Illinois athletic director Sean Frazier.

Nah. Barry Alvarez asked Warde Manuel why Geno Auriemma was knitting a sweater in the UConn Christmas video. Warde said Geno was thrilled that UConn will be the sixteenth and final university admitted into the B1G, and that he has a message for all the naysayers to express that there's now "no more room at the inn:"

That was one week before the Maryland Board of Trustrees voted to join the Big Ten. So clearly he had insider information, and the UConn BOT and high level donors thought that an ACC invite was on the way for UConn.


In April of 2013, a poster called Uconnyenom made two posts. In one of them, he said that he was the same poster.
