No! I'd rather take that Italian named Petrino.Hey, hey now! By the way, I'm sure you wouldn't mind another CT Italian if his name was Addazio, right?![]()

He would probably corrupt the kids.Did I say "guido"? And I don't get "offended". Human stupidity is appalling. That's all.You know....for someone who gets offended when someone even mentions the words "Muslim terrorists"......
If Manual was going to tell PP to change his OC (and I'm not saying he would or would not) he would not tell it to Dez now, and he would not announce it publicly then. You would simply hear that George retired.
What I got from what he said was that he doesnt see a problem and is going to leave it up to Paul to make decisions regarding his staff. So I don't see him telling Paul to fire, or force retire a member of his staff when he just said that he was going to leave it up to his coach. Now I realize in the world of sports management often will give assurances to members only to fire them not too long after but I keep taking a guy's word at face value until they lie about something.
What's he gonna say, really?
That would still be a gigantic step forward. Then hire Tony Saprano to be the OC... PP and his Italian friends.
after watching the Jets O, Tony Soprano might be best, but he's a Snookie Alum.Soprano is a Snookie alum who did some commercials for Schiano back in the day... and now he's doing commercials for UCLA extension school! LULZ!!Do you want Tony Saprano, Soprano, or Sparano?after watching the Jets O, Tony Soprano might be best, but he's a Snookie Alum.
I agree. His statements seem to reflect putting the responsibility of yesterday on the players, not necessarily the coaches. It sounded to me like an honest vote of confidence for PP.
from my perspective, blaming the players is also implying that the coaches don't have them prepared. Isn't motivation part of coaching? What about consistancy?
Its not like he said that everything is going great, he mentioned that everyone has to adapt and improve, coaching staff included.
That's a possibility, but the strength of his "treat the MAC like the ACC" statement leads me to believe that he has faith the coaches had them equally prepared schematically for this one as they did for Maryland and NCState, but that he feels the players just didn't bring it. I could be wrong, though, but that's my take on his statements...
