At first the Mulkey statement that her team can score from multiple positions seemed a little puzzling both because every team better be able to score at least a little from positions besides the shooting guard and that Sims does take a monstrous share of Baylor's shots. But looking at the stats, most of the OS-less remaining 35 points was spread fairly evenly between the other starters, and they combined to shoot a very decent 46%. It was the OS and bench combo going 5-31 that really hurt the Bears. Maybe the takeaway for Mulkey is that they start spreading the scoring out more, or maybe OS just decides that when not up against UConn D she will be able to get 30 points a game on 25 shots.
