Vital gets... nothing. AAC Awards

Whaley

Scott is certainly a better player but no way did he improve more than Whaley.

Whaley certainly improved more, but averages of 6 and 5 aren't going to get anyone's attention. What we have seen over the last month or so from Whaley has been fantastic, but his season averages are pretty pedestrian.

Fuel to the fire.

This goes back to the argument of mvp vs poy I think if this were mvp Vital wins but for poy Precious is probably the right answer. IMHO league awards should be mvp.

It’s an AAC award, not full season

This might be a dumb question, but can any Huskies win MIP in the Big East next year since we were in The AAC this year?

Ok so in AAC games he averaged 8.2 points and 6.7 rebounds. Still not enough to grab the attention of voters.

He has been fantastic recently, but his averages are weighed down by a bunch of lesser performances earlier in the season.
