100% the school was in cahoots. No way security lets you get in with that and it wasn't "in the stands". I'm all for fans doing anything they can, within the rules, to distract the shooter. But as someone noted above, this is like laser pointers and air horns. It's a bush league move by the school.

Years ago there was a team that paraded out an entire show behind the opposing free throw basket. Can't remember who it was but I remember it was amusing.

When AC Green played for Oregon State in the eighties, he was very religious and joined a protest against 7-11 selling Playboy. At the next game against Oregon every time Green went to the line the students behind the basket held up centerfolds.
