Well, when the banner is being toted around the arena by a blimp - YES, done by Tennessee and possibly others. Don't think you can do it in public view.

I doubt he did the helicoptor just for "show", it probably was the most efficient way to get where he was going. Coach Schiano used a helicopter for RU football when he was there, and I don't really consider RU an athletic program that was "flashy".
