Sorry @Nostical but we just don't have good enough players. Our QB can't throw, our lineman can't block, and our WR's can't get open.

On D, we are way, way too slow to stop anyone with a below average FBS offense. All of the red flags against HC are being confirmed in this game.

He's fine in the middle of the field but when the offense is getting towards the end zone the decisions just get worse and worse.

The 3rd and 4 we would've had the 1st if someone didnt miss their blocking assignment, the 4th down was just a dumb play.

Cant get a first down with 3rd and short. Thats on the OL. Cant do on third down, no confidence on 4th.

Nearly every positive play on both sides of the ball is a result of a mistake by UVA. We can't dictate any aspect of this game.

I agree, but considering how bad UVA is, being around their level is hardly encouraging.

Don't kid yourself, UConn has a long, long way to go before we can compete with the bottom level P5 teams. This is a complete rebuild. It is going to take several years. We have less talent than UMass on both sides of the ball. That is the reality of the situation.
