Who we pulling for tomorrow? I think Cincy is the best bet because realistically I don't think we can catch them for the AAC title. But we can catch Ville for the no. 2 spot. They still have games at Cincy, at Memphis, and at SMU, while hosting UConn. That is a tough stretch.

plus, ville is leaving our conference next year. It would be a little embarrassing to have them win regular season in their only year here.

I think we can catch cinci for the #1 spot if they lose out, we win out, and a couple of things go our way. As long as it is in reach, I'm rooting for it to happen. Let's go Louisville.

UCONN only cares about the conf. tourney at this point. You know it will be UCONN vs. louisville and at that point it is a toss up.

We should never cheer for the ville again (except for duke, cuse, Kentucky games) starting tomorrow. We're not gonna catch cincy, just gotta hope kilpatrick cools. When do all conference teams and POY get selected, before the conference tourney?

There was a discussion on twitter this week and we pretty much figured out that the only way UConn can win the conference (#1 seed) is if UL, Memphis, & UConn all beat Cinci down the stretch. If UConn can then beat UL, it will lead to a 4 way tie that UConn owns the tiebreakers for. Because of this I will be rooting for UL I guess.

We are in a good spot because if we end up in any tie w/ Memphis we should have the tie breakers since we beat them twice.

Honestly, the real key for us is beating SMU on Sunday to avoid the 4/5 game in the conference tourney.

Vinci lose to UL, Memphis and UConn and UConn win out. If one of the others loses another game that would work also. You are correct - I didn't explain that very well.

To get the 4 way tie for first -
Cinci needs to lose to UL, Memphis & UConn.
UL needs to lose to UConn & SMU/Memphis.

Another reason SMU is such a huge game- if we lose to them they have an extremely good chance of finishing ahead of us since they would own tie breakers. We also need to root for Memphis vs them to preserve our tie breakers.
