Why not Drive to CT (say the Fairfield stop) and take the Metro North in? thats like 36 bucks round trip.

I doubt Bolt bus would get you to the game on time unless you left the night before. And staying in NYC takes "cheap" out of the equation.

You could risk the 730 AM which (supposedly) puts you in NYC at noon, but that is cutting it VERY close especially since it drops you at 11th Ave, and also Bolt isnt known for a stellar "on time" rep.

I don’t think planes are worth taking even though they are much less expensive than the train I’m seeing.
