On the road. Good team. No McNeeley. We're okay.

That being said... we shot ourselves in foot giving up 40% from deep and with little mistakes at the rim.

Those free throws are going to overshadow a phenomenal performance by Stewart. He stepped up BIG TIME in his first start.

We don't have enough shot creation with McNeeley since Mahaney is in a different role. Without McNeeley we're reeling.
 
You win and lose together and all that but AK lost us that game. With all the accolades there's an expectation and he ghosts way too much. You can't just be a connector who launches 30 footers with all that hype.

Spoils an incredible second half offensive performance from Solo. The shooting is awesome but he's showing so much more lately. I'm so happy with Solo's play.

The clutch guys came up unclutch down the stretch. Road games in the Big East without your best player are tough under those kinds of circumstances.

Great to see Stewart break out a bit and for Ball to step it up.

Yup Liam is the difference. We’ll be lucky to go .500 while he’s out. Cruel fate that a loose ball in a blowout against DePaul derailed our season.
 
Love Alex but have to stop going to him at end of games and shot clocks. He's better in flow of offense off ball. Just not a go get it scorer off bounce. Wanted Solo, Reed or Jaylin and in what seemed like 6 chances, none of them had one. Keep thinking of the open 3 Hass turned down. Would have been best look. Early, but best. Just shot ball horribly in first half. Whole team outside of Stewart and the bigs were abysmal in first half. Not AK's game. He will rebound and so will we. Now let this fuel us and crush Cooley and GTown.

I think we have a couple. We had three cracks at it, we just went to the wrong guy on two of them.

If you watching UConn last two games it’s a cause for concern. That team was 178 in Kenpom D and we struggled.
 
Tough loss. Winnable game.

I saw a lot of encouraging stuff. Stewart, Ross progressed. Samson with some fight for rebounds and moves in the paint. Solo flamethrowers. This team doesn’t quit.

Frustrating stuff too. Alex needs to be better. Aidan needed to build off last game & not regress.

Just too sloppy with unforced errors probably the biggest reason for the loss.

Who is with McNeeley out? It's not Karaban either. Stewart maybe?
 
Lost the game at the line, literally - outscored 12-2, even though we shot the ball at a high %.

AK needs to go after that 2nd miss - cant just mope at the line like that. Inexcusable.

Well, we are definitely going to miss McNeeley the next several weeks! Need to stay in the Top 25 until he returns.
 
I love Solo's dependability in scoring. He's really starting to get some variety. Mid range and a couple drives this game. Him and McNeeley are our two best scoring options. Karaban is just going to remain the best role/support player we've ever had. Nothing is going to take that shine.

What is up with Mahaney being gun shy on passing to the open cutter. Does it at least once a game, most times multiple.

JStew proved once again to be an asset. Hopefully Dan Hurley will just pencil him in for 16-18 minutes from here on out.

The story of the game was the bad/unforced turnovers and Ball not getting enough shots in the first half.
