Any idea when this is going to happen?

No idea, but anyone with marketing savvy in Storrs would link a hoop's victory parade/celebration with next Saturday's UCONN spring football game.

The success and momentum of the basketball programs should be leveraged into football. Especially with the conference BS it means more now than ever.

The University of Kentucky men’s basketball team will have a public celebration of the 2013-14 season Tuesday at Rupp Arena, immediately following the Wildcats’ return from Texas.

This. I don't think the casual fan will dedicate a full weekend to UConn and given the choice between a parade and a glorified practice on Sunday they're choosing the parade.

I would love for both to be on Saturday because as I'd be coming from out of state, I'd likely have to miss the Sunday sspring game.
