Projected #1 pick currently playing on ESPN2 vs projected #2 pick Scoot Henderson. Also of note Tremont Waters plays for Wembanyama's French team
 
He looks like an Alien. Kid is talented as hell though.

Scoot looks pretty solid too. If he learned to shoot consistently he'll be an all-star.

Could end up a hybrid of Gobert/Durant... like you said thought... Big (BIG) "if." Skinny 7'4 guys rarely stay healthy.

Scoot looks amazing. But the Ignite team has a lot more weapons that Wembanyana's. Hard to get a good read on Wembanyana because he's barely touching the ball right now.

Skinny and 7 footers break down...once you get over that 6'11- 7'1 range dudes really break down. The body just can't seem to handle the stress and Wenbanyama unfortunately already has an injury history at 18.
 
Very different players, but at least from this game I'm buying the hype on both.

Victor was legitimately insane. Shot like a 7'4" Jabari Smith with better finishing and rim protection.

This is nuts. As a prospect I am thinking this is best prospect since Lebron and honestly as a prospect this may even be a conversation with Lebron
 
He's 7'4 barefoot with an 8 foot wingspan and I think those measurements are legit. He towers over Holmgren and Gobert and is even taller than Zach Edey. He makes guys like Giannis, KD, and Dirk look normal.

Basketball has never seen a prospect like him. Wish he could be put in bubble wrap though, the human body is not meant to be that size and move that way.

The closest comparisons would probably be Porzingis and Ralph Sampson before they had their injuries but even they don't look nearly as freaky.
 
There was only one newsworthy event from that game.

Porzingis definitely didn't have the ball skills. This kid plays like he's 6'6."

Good lord this kid looks good.

It’s like Ralph Sampson was cloned with pg & 2-guard handles and a jumper. I’ve never seen a big man shooting threes that smoothly. He looks really really good.
