USAF 20 Years 1968 to 1988. Tours of Duty in Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, Germany and my Hardship tour in Hawaii. Majority of my Active Duty was spent overseas, which was intentional except for the Year I spent in Vietnam.

I worked in the USA for big corporations from 1974 through 2003.

I never once was given Veterans' Day off from work.

Just sayin'...

Should have been at a union shop.

My father came home from New Guinea, 1943 to 45. My uncles Harry and Patrick both died in Europe, 1944. The Veteran's Day and Memorial Day parades are the only ones that matter.
