This line from Mike Anthony's article about the game last night makes me think that Warde Manuel hired the right man for the job:
UConn was on the brink of being overwhelmed early, pinned deep in their zone for stretches of the first period. But as 10 freshmen got used to college ice and minor adjustments were made, the tide turned.
I like the way the kids were able to turn it around and play their game after the first period. It won't be over night...and it will take the new ben being completed to add the final piece to his puzzle...but Cav and his staff are gonna do some great things at UCONN.
