UConn was 75/1 at Las Vegas Superbook AKA The Westgate formerly known as Las Vegas Hilton on the 23rd (I was out there for a Poker event). Take a cab or the Monorail to the Westgate. I took a very very small bet on UConn at 75/1 (not like last year where I had 85/1 at the WYNN for a sizable amount). I was curious if it is still 75/1 or got knocked down. I have all the odds from all the books on me. MGM which has several books under their umbrella has terrible #'s on Futures.

Thanks, I will take a look if I get a chance. How did you do at the poker tournament?

You can buy-in to the daily at Venetian when the DeepStack Tournament isn't going on. The Venetian has the best Book in my opinion. The managers there are player friendly unlike the Wynn where if they get beat you are marked. Which is ridiculous considering the revenue generated at the casino.

Just got my ticket for this year at Treasure Island for 50-1 odds. Bought my ticket there last year, so had to go back there for luck!

Yes, but they have been close most of the last few years.

I'd be surprised if they don't at least get to the FF.

Lol UK is 2-1 right now? Ridiculous.

If I were somehow guaranteed Kentucky would make the Final Four, I still wouldn't bet on them winning the championship with 2-1 odds. Preseason 2-1 odds is a joke. They'll be a very good team, but anything can happen in the tournament.

What did Vegas have us at last year, this time?

The best odds anywhere were 85/1 at the Wynn. A 1k wager knocked that down to 65/1. A subsequent bet on the 65/1 at Wynn then brought it down to the Vegas Strip mean if you crunch the #'s. Cantor Gaming through the Venetian and several other books under their umbrella allow you to wager electronically in Vegas without going to the kiosk. Basically they are implementing a Wall Street feel to gaming. Pretty much acting as a Market Maker. William Hill and The Venetian are the best books for avoiding limits. Westgate/LVH will cap you at a 40k payout on hoops Futures for instance on a single kiosk visit (for 1 particular team).

But 100/1 as a #7 seed to start the tourney at certain places. Taking UConn facing that gauntlet would have taken some balls.
