He's The Athletic's NBA draft guy. Widely considered the most knowledgeable in that space. He had Bouknight as a lottery guy before most. Had both Hawkins and Jackson top 36 last season before the season.Who is this guy? He is absolutely spot on with DC. DC needs to heal up and get in shape especially get his weight down a bit and he`ll be fine. Hes not far from where he needs to be and im sure hes going to put the work in but the injuries dictate that.

I love AK but he cant guard anyone. He`d get eaten alive in the NBA at this point. Hes simply not athletic enough to deal with athleticsm. Its no coincidence so far this season the guys hes guarding in games have good nights against us. WARNING FOLLOWING COMMENT MAY TRIGGER SOME! Just crazy Newton isn’t higher. We seem to win a lot since he joined the team. What can’t he do?Vecenie is legit. As @auror said, he's plugged into NBA front offices and knows his stuff about the game.
He's too shortWhy is Edy so low?
Why is Edy so low?
He'll be 23 years old by the NBA draft. Teams unfortunately like to draft younger, based off of potential. Kids a stud hopefully a team takes a chance on himJust crazy Newton isn’t higher. We seem to win a lot since he joined the team. What can’t he do?
I disagree with this. Yeah he does get out muscled on the ball at times and sometimes gets beat off the dribble but he seems to be able to make adjustments like he did with Hopkins last year. In the 2nd game last year he made sure to contain Hopkins. I think he is athletic enough to play as a shooter off the bench. He has decent ups too. Maybe not a starter in the NBA but a key guy off the bench.I love AK but he cant guard anyone. He`d get eaten alive in the NBA at this point. Hes simply not athletic enough to deal with athleticsm. He posted Alex’s big game against Texas as well. Wish he took a hard look atTristanTristen. I want him to be so successful. Kid is earning it.

dude, i love Alex, but he can't guard good athletes. And the Kansas game showed sometimes he can't get his shot off in the flow of offense. I think he will get better, but being fair, he is not ready for the next level. And neither is DC. I love both these kids. But an extra year would do wonders. It cracks me up when people assume leaving college is the only way to go. Tim Duncan played 4 years in college and made a log of cash in his career. Plenty of examples like that one.I disagree with this. Was Cam even on the NBA draft radar while at Rutgers? I know one of the reasons for his transfer to Storrs was to get those looks, and being surrounded by NBA talent at UConn has certainly done that based upon what I have read about the scouts at practices etc. It would be a great case study for future portal guys if Danny can point to elevating Cam to a higher level.
Is his weight up as a result of the inactivity due to injury or did they want him heavier? Did we try to bulk him up too much ala Josh Carlton?Who is this guy? He is absolutely spot on with DC. Adam Spinella was a draft analyst in the public sphere that was really high on Spencer before this year, and then he got hired by the Sixers this summer. So he's got a fan in at least 1 front office in a lower level role lol. Might be more like a camp invite level of interest, though.I'm not sure he's really on NBA radars now, either. He and Tristen are both guys with ridiculous college skillsets that I'm not sure will translate to the league.
Interesting to see Oso Ighodaro so high...I love his game but he has no perimeter shooting ability...which is supposed to be key for the NBA. Also interesting to see no Dickinson who does have very strong perimeter shooting ability. He's The Athletic's NBA draft guy. Widely considered the most knowledgeable in that space. He had Bouknight as a lottery guy before most. Had both Hawkins and Jackson top 36 last season before the season.
