Haven't Vaughn and Perkins claimed the package deal card? Absence of Gonzaga on Vaughn's list is important.
Edit: Uconn, Minnesota, UCLA, Kentucky the only schools listed by both. If they are intent on playing together, they most likely will have to do so at UConn, Minnesota or UCLA.
There was actually an article with quotes from Perkin's dad about how a package deal is unlikely. Which is great because Vaughn is not coming to UCONN.I don't have a source but I have recently heard that a package deal with these two are not likely anymore. Who knows, I just know that I would be happy if we landed him.

If ten schools are on the list than ten schools fans are following the list. Readership is the valid parameter. Once a player goes off the radar the fans stop following. Exceptions are recruits like Joseph whose interestin a rival program has fans from these programs engaging fans from a program dropped with both sets of fans following his recruitment but for different reasons.what ever happend to the days of cutting and releasing lists of 5 schools or so? I know its their job but I don't even know why these guys bother publicizing recruits "cutting" their lists to this many schools, just seems like the recruits are looking for attention.

Love your assessment of players and games btw.
