national champion bet is pretty good. it doesn't take a lot either. it's a motion offense team that seems way worse than they really are in the big east environment, playing a style of ball that gives fresh opponents fits. this team has the highest ceiling out of the contenders.

The way I've seen to play this is take a team to win the national championship. Lay low and assume they win their first 2 games. Then, based on the moneyline of the underdog they'll face in each rd after, hedge against your bet to where you guarantee a positive return if your "champ" loses any of the remaining 4 games.

Our price has dropped considerably since the BE final. We opened the season around 11-1 or 12-1. We hovered between that and 15-1 all year. It’s crazy to me that 2 teams that we beat (Illinois and FLA) now have lower odds than us. The market has really cooled off on us.

I don't ever bet against UConn and wouldn't hedge, but I think if you have a chance to win a big sum of money with very little financial risk, I'm not going to judge you.
